We are surveying the plants of Los Fresnos using a variety of survey techniques, such as circular plots to estimate species richness and transects to estimate percent cover.

To date, we have identified over 100 morphospecies and 70 species on the preserve. View a preliminary species list.

Plant specimens collected at Los Fresnos have been deposited at the University of Arizona herbarium. Duplicate specimens will be deposited as a reference collection at Los Fresnos. Contact Brad Boyle or Grant Rogers for more information on plants at Los Fresnos.
